CLIENT
Cisal represents an important chapter in the history of Italian brassware. A long tradition of ingenuity, expertise and professionalism, applied and enhanced through respect and consideration for the people and the territory: Lake Orta, the area where the brassware district has grown for generations, as heritage of the Italian craftsmanship and creativeness.
CONCEPT
The international designer Karim Rashid has developed an original exhibition concept for Cisal at the Salone Internazionale del Mobile: a surreal forest of giant taps that welcomes visitors, creating an effect of surprise and alienation at the same time.
REALISATION
For the realization of this project, the walls and the floor were covered with lacquered panels to accentuate the reflective effect that gives extraordinary energy to the booth and to the faucets.
The washbasin, 8 meters long, is also lacquered.
Strongly inspired by pop art, led lights were used in the ceiling, lamps and mirrors to accentuate colors and highlight the taps, transforming them into style icons.
