Customer: Lapitec - Industry: Ceramics - Event: KBIS - City: Las Vegas
DESCRIPTION:
The project by Didonè Comacchio Architectsz envisaged an open-space design that combined raw materials such as OSB, cement and ivy, with kitchen and bathroom environments, audio-video systems, as well as of course, the large format sintered stone: a product that made Lapitec notorious around the world.
The main challenge of this exhibit was certainly the engineering, which had to make fitting possible in the only 3 days of installation available. In addition to producing a partially pre-finished structure, that could be quickly installed, we had to plan for an execution that allowed the different assembly teams to simultaneously work on the stand: constructors, electricians, riggers, and of course the Lapitec staff for the installation of exhibited products. Installation time and operating conditions can be very complex (especially in the United States), but we don’t want our customers to compromise on the final result.
In addition to developing a deep knowledge of the market, investing over the years in an innovative, meticulous and versatile method of project management, was our answer to make every project possible.
